We use carbon fiber roll wrapped tubes, ideal for applications that require the highest bending stiffness and lowest weight, such as telescoping poles, automation robotics, idler rollers, and UAV components.

HURST™ is a very popular brand in the automotive industry with their line of shifter products. HURST™ shift handles are perfectly suited for walking sticks and canes due to their robust ergonomic design.

Inconel® is a family of nickel-chromium-based superalloys known for their exceptional strength, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance in demanding environments.

This carbon fiber tube is a blend of pultrusion and the new, rarely-seen pullbraiding process. The tubing is made up of TORAYCA® T700 carbon fiber (or equivalent), and the braiding is targeted at the surface as well as in the core. The speed of the braiding machine and the pultrusion speed keep the braiding degree at +/-45 degrees and keep the fibers interlocked, which gives the pullbraided tubing a high bend and twisting stiffness. Pullbraided tubes are great for aircraft frames, camera tripods, trusses, paddles, fishing rods, ski and trekking poles, and more!

We use breakaway paracord wrist straps on our products to prevent personal injury if the stick, pole or cane becomes entangled in any manner that could potentially cause harm in a dangerous situation. They are designed to 'break' with a low to moderate amount of pulling force on the strap, freeing you from the stick, pole or cane.

We use hard (75A) neoprene for the tips on all of our products based on its mechanical properties. 75A neoprene is dense and hard, allowing it to withstand physical abuse from scraping, scuffing, and rubbing. Neoprene also has moderate resistance to petroleum-based fluids, greases, and many chemicals. In addition, 75A neoprene is difficult to tear or break, which is essential for heavy-duty applications. As a synthetic rubber, neoprene resists degradation from environmental factors such as UV rays, ozone, and oxygen, making it suitable for outdoor use.

Make a fist and hold your forearm level with the ground keeping your elbow close to your body. Have another person measure the distance from the bottom of your fist to the ground. For a walking stick, subtract 2 inches from the measured distance, this is the shaft length to select when ordering. For trekking poles, add 4 inches to the measured distance, this is the shaft length to select when ordering.

Open your hand and hold your arm in front of you keeping your hand flat and level with your waist. Have another person measure the distance from the bottom of your hand to the ground. Subtract 2 inches, this is the shaft length to select when ordering.
